  2. What does he mean when he says God's grace is infinite?

    1. R.C. Sproul Quote

“God’s grace is not infinite. God is infinite, and God is gracious. We experience the grace of an infinite God, but grace is not infinite. God sets limits to His patience and forbearance. He warns us over and over again that someday the ax will fall and His judgment will be poured out.”

I read this in the book that R C wrote "The Holiness of God"

  3. I understand what he is saying. But isn't he splitting hairs? Yes we should "proclaim" the Gospel boldly because it's true it's fact, its our hope people will know the good news and be drawn by God the Father to his Son Jesus to repentance. THAT should be our attitude in our hearts.

I've "shared" the gospel as I've "proclaimed" it,, but it's just the word I've used to describe what I've done.

    1. Not sure if it is splitting hair given what the Bible says and given what men make out of it because of cultural bias and their corrupted sense of "correctness". The Gospel is not an option. It is a command:

"Therefore, although God has overlooked such times of ignorance, he now commands all people everywhere to repent." ~ Acts 17:30

Please keep it pithy (in other words, if your comment is long enough to be its own blog post, don't bother), pertinent (please don't go off-topic), and respectful (to the author, to the other readers, and to the subject of the post). If you can't do that, your comment will not be posted.

If you haven't already, please read the Comment Policy in its entirety.
