"Bishop" Eddie Long is Crowned a "King"

This is abominable and disgusting:

Oh, and just for your information, Eddie Long and T.D. Jakes must be friends. Otherwise, why would Jakes have been preaching at Long's church just this past summer? But please, just ignore that elephant in the room.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

  5. Hmmm. They all did a great job of keeping a straight face during this ceremony. The saddest part is looking at the faces of the people in the audience.

  6. I'm with Amanda, sick.
On a similar vein as Charlene, I stagger at thinking folks want this and lap it up.

  7. Wow...when did Ringling Brothers change up their show?

I think I prefer the version with the tigers, acrobats and funny clowns, not these types of clowns.

  9. Uuummmmm Blasphemy at its finest. A bunch of goats pretending they are sheep. And oh look at the masses that follow these blind leaders, leading the masses of blind over the edge of the cliff into the depths of hell.

Lord, please open the eyes of the deceived so that they may see before it is to late.

  10. these people are very bad. also sad that the churches are so fragmented that every church is doing what is right in their own eyes and making alot of money. our missionary leaders should be equiping us to dialog with the swarm of people from other faiths that are over taking our neighborhods. when they see this it proves true the lies that they been taught about us. this is the kind of stuff they show in there missionary classes.. for now pass the popcorn and watch the show.

  11. also in judaism. the torah is treated with much reverence as it the words of the most high G-d...
these hustlers have no right to even be in possesion of the torah. 2. that church should be empty next sunday..no bible studies in churches and no prayer meetings in churches...sit back and be entertained enjoy the show. this makes me sick.

  12. Didn't Eddie Long just go through an alleged sex scandal? I'm sure he has had a major setback and it looks like they are trying to restore it. Whether it's true or not I don't know.

If he has done wrong, then covering up his sin is the worst atrocity against God. He alone will suffer.

I know he's done many things wrong and this is downright one of the lowest. I DO pray (still) God will save him. I just don't know sometimes with some of these people who have really done so much damage. I know I"m no better than anyone but merely saved by God's grace-or GO I. I just have this anger and disgust but then I have this compassion fill my heart because I don't wish anyone to go to hell.

I pray he repents at least of his false teachings if he's innocent of the other and I pray he repents of all if he's guilty of both

Oh my,,, I was fixin to type in the word verification and it says "smite"~lol

  13. Ridiculous heresy - a shame to the true Biblical gospel - how the heart of our Lord must grieve over this absurd ritual - repent, or God will deal with you. Why are God's people so STUPID?

  14. I have no idea what I just watched. Never heard of this church or this "Bishop" and I have no context for whatever it is they are doing. Maybe I need to go back and study my Bible a little harder, but I just can't remember any of this junk being in God's Word.

  15. Something from my local paper:

"Jewish leaders offended by ceremony at New Birth"

ATLANTA — Jewish leaders are criticizing a ceremony that involved a controversial megachurch leader being wrapped in a religious scroll and exalted as a "king" to the applause of his parishioners. The video from a service last Sunday at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church shows Rabbi Ralph Messer, a Messianic preacher, instructing two men to slowly wrap Bishop Eddie Long in a large scroll that's purported to be the Torah.

"It doesn't matter where you go, how you try to attack him. He's sealed," Messer proclaims, before the scroll is opened to reveal a teary-eyed Long. Moments later, Long was seated in a plush chair, covered in a prayer shawl while holding the sacred scroll and lifted by four men. "He now is raised up from a commoner to a kingship," Messer proclaims, as the men walk Long's seat around an adoring crowd.

Rabbi David Shiff of Congregation Beth Hallel, a Messianic Jewish synagogue in Roswell, condemned the actions in the video.

"Ralph Messer in no way represents Messianic Judaism," Shiff said. "He is not affiliated with any legitimate branch of Messianic Judaism. His actions in no way reflect the position of Messianic Judaism. I found the presentation to be repulsive and inappropriate."

  16. he didn't look very comfortable or happy probably because he already knew the backlash that would come from it. I hope these "preachers" that are so far from the spirit get to their point of desperation and run back to God. If people didn't leave that church after seeing this blasphemy then....I know it probably woke some folks in that place up though...
