T.D. Jakes' Modalism is the Tip of the Iceberg

In the segment below from Fighting for the Faith, Chris Rosebrough demonstrates that, as far as "Bishop" T.D. Jakes is concerned, modalism is just the tip of the iceberg:

  1. "T.D. Jakes' Modalism is just the tip of the iceberg" -- I wholeheartedly agree.

On the other hand, MacDonald says he is "also excited to hear him state his views on money which may be closer to Scripture than the monasticism currently touring reformed world." (http://jamesmacdonald.com/blog/?p=9055) Oh my. Not sure how much more of this I can take before i find another church to attend.

  2. rom,

I certainly agree that the statement you quoted above is quite troublesome. A lot of people are curious to see what will become of this situation. If nothing else, I suppose they'll end up with even more attendees at the event (read: more $$). Just as long as they don't use it to "sow a seed" with Jakes' ministry!

  3. This is a further indication that James MacDonald is in the midst of major shift in his theology and approach and unfortunately to the left and liberalism.
There are many reasons for this but I guess we will need to wait for them to become more distinctive as MacDonald takes his flock on a major "journey"...
