This 'n' That

I don't know about where you live, but here it feels like Fall. I'm okay with that, as long as winter stays away for awhile. Anyway, since last week was lacking a This 'n' That, I have a few extra stories for you today. Enjoy your week in review (kind of):
  • "Evangelicals," particularly the SBC, are upset that they've been excluded from an interfaith event "honoring" September 11. Um...Christians should not be seeking to join in prayer and "worship" with Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists and others. Really, this is Christianity 101 - Jesus Christ is the only way. When involving oneself with these ecumenical events and praying with members of other religions, one needs to ask, as does Apprising Ministries, "which god is going to be invoked; if somehow this nation under God’s judgment was to turn around, what god would then get credit?"
  • Most of us have seen this video, mocking the idea of a "drive-thru church." Well, be careful what you wish for, because a Texas pastor has now launched an honest-to-goodness drive-thru church. Hey, Jesus would totally approve. After all, "A lot of trouble He had was indoors." Uh-huh. Okay.
    • This article documents C. Peter Wagner of the New Apostolic Reformation teaching on the doctrine of the "seven mountains." Honestly, have they never read Revelation 17:9? Seven mountains are not something a "Christian" should be proud of preaching!
    • The Rich Man and Lazarus

      1. Hi Anonymous,
Thanks for reading, but before you comment again on a post that is so old, please review the comment policy.

I'm not sure of the point of your question. If you read the article above, or any of my posts for that matter, it should be pretty clear "what religion" I am.
