Top Ten Thanks

  1. I am thankful for the Bible, the holy Word of God.
  2. I am thankful that I can rest knowing that all I need to "hear" from God is contained in the pages of Scripture. I do not need to rely on visions or voices, warm-fuzzies, fleeces, handwriting, angel dust, or a special anointing.
  3. I am thankful for the holiday season and the memories it offers.
  4. I am thankful for men like John MacArthur, Alistair Begg, Paul Washer, and Art Azurdia, who preach the Word faithfully and without shame or apology.
  5. I am thankful for the MABS program at The Master's College and for God's clear confirmation (and no, I did not get a voice or vision) that it is where He wants me to be right now.
  6. I am thankful for the many Bibles that are scattered throughout my small house, because I realize that many Christians do not even have one Bible. (By the way, have you checked out Bible League International?  If you want to give a great Christmas present, why not send a Bible to someone who doesn't have one?)
  7. I am thankful for the extra free time that suddenly appeared in my schedule!
  8. I am thankful that God rested on the seventh day so that we too may rest.
  9. I am thankful for God's blessing of stability.
  10. I am thankful for the undeserved grace of God upon me, a wretched, vile sinner.
